Petillant is a vi d’agulla, the Catalan name for prickly wine. This vibrant and refreshing wine is the traditional summertime quaffer of the Penedès region of Catalonia, and it’s perfect for drinking out of a porrón.
Site: Alt Penedès at 400m
Grapes: 70% Muscat, 20% Macabeo, and 10% Xarel-lo
Vine Age: 5-50 years
Soil: Clay calcareous
Farming: Practicing Organic
Vinification: Fermented in stainless steel. The carbonation is created by the charmat method of secondary fermentation in tank.

Keg: Avinyó Petillant comes in a 20L, recyclable UniKeg with a standard sankey coupler. We recommend using CO2 for taps, but please consult your keg tech.
