A Partnership Guide for Producers

De Maison Selections works exclusively with artisan producers from Spain and France who own and control their vineyards and means of production. We do not work with cooperatives, negociants, or brokers. Our suppliers represent the highest quality of their respective appellations and disciplines, and do not conform to any specific dogma other than absolute quality and respect for their environment, community, and consumers.

Together with our distribution partners and the expertise of our dedicated team, we are able to provide one convenient and easily accessible interface to the United States market—something incredibly rare in the US. We are the exclusive importer for all our suppliers, and we do not split market share with other US importers.

We control all of the following systems in-house and provide these services for our suppliers:

• Distributor relations and national sales management in all US states and territories
• Direct distribution and sales in New York and New Jersey through De Maison East
• Purchasing and logistics
• Verified refrigerated transportation 
• Warehousing
• Compliance and regulations in all US states and territories
• Marketing
• US press and media relations

De Maison has been a national importer since 1996, and we remain a futuristic company with a long-term vision for each of our projects. We approach each producer individually with care and respect. We understand that lasting relationships and true progress in the US market are incremental, and require the partnership of our community of distributors in each individual US state and territory. This is why our focus has always been on building mutually beneficial, long-term relationships, achieving success through authentic, grassroots marketing and clear storytelling that transmits the unique cultural and social message of each of our supplier-partners.

We offer our customers beverages of verified provenance, paying particular attention to correct transport and storage. We are one of very few US importers who demand and authenticate refrigerated shipping and storage of their products.

Progress begins with awareness. As more and more consumers become aware of the proper standards for storage and transportation, one of the most important questions becomes: “how was this bottle shipped?” At De Maison, we take pride in having an answer.

Traceability starts with mutual trust and transparency. Just as our suppliers guarantee the integrity and provenance of their harvest, we do our part by continuously preserving and monitoring their products’ health throughout our cold chain, guaranteeing our customers the authentic, pleasurable drinking experience they deserve.

Each of our shipments is temperature-controlled, certified by sensors in every truck, container, and warehouse we use. Over 30 years, we’ve cultivated longstanding relationships with key, forward-thinking distributors to ensure that our products receive the highest level of care and service until they reach their final destination.
