Chardonnay "La Roche des Bancs" 2013

Vin des Fossiles Chardonnay Roche des Bancs

The nervy, taut side of the grape comes through in this Chardonnay made from fruit grown in flint soils.

Vinification Fermented in stainless steel before aging in old oak barrels.

Tasting Notes Thyme, cedar, and lime leaf on the nose. This a steely, rather austere interpretation of Chardonnay, with a long, full, acidity on the finish. Its flavor profile makes it incredibly versatile with food.

Suggested Pairings Shellfish, tajines, fresh summer vegetables, pizza, grilled fish.
