Granja Remelluri Gran Reserva 2011
Made only in the best years. The grapes for this wine are carefully sourced from the oldest plots surrounding the winery.
Vinification The wine was fermented with indigenous yeasts in small wooden tubs. It was then aged for 24 months in all French oak: 1 to 5 year old barrels (225L, 400L, and 500L) and foudres ranging from 1,200L to 2,000L.
Tasting Notes Spice box of aromas reminiscent of tobacco, sandalwood and pencil lead. The palate is grand and gains presence with aeration. Good length and great finesse.
