Domaine Lupin "Cuvée du Pépé" Frangy 2014
This is a very limited production wine that is sourced from Bruno Lupin's 60-year-old vines.
Vinification Full malolactic fermentation. Aged on the lees for one year in enameled steel tanks.
Tasting Notes Lots of white flowers, pear, and a yeasty, almost bready note in the background. Great structure, rich mouth feel, and a super long finish. Plenty of nerve, not flabby at all despite the full malolactic. There's a very pure, elegant minerality here that marks this wine as a top level expression of the Altesse grape.
