This month is your time to show off your PORRÓN skills!
On Monday July 6—National Porrón Day—we will declare the most inventive porróniste, crowning them as the 2026 Porrón Champion.
The 2nd Annual National Porrón Day is coming up this July 6th! If you’re new here, a porrón is a traditional vessel from Spain, used to pour wine (or whatever you want, really) straight into one’s mouth from its glass spout. It’s simple: tilt, aim, and pour. Traditionally passed between parched workers in Spain’s sun-soaked vineyards as a convenient alternative to carrying around multiple glasses, the porrón also happens to be the De Maison logo, emblematic of the sharing of good drink with good company—something we strongly encourage, at all times. The porrón represents conviviality and togetherness, enjoying the finer things, but eschewing pretension. It’s all about welcoming and inclusivity. So, let’s celebrate it!

2 – Take a video of yourself porróning in a creative, inventive, cooperative, or challenging way
3 – Post your best porrón pour (must be on the grid or a reel, NOT a story) with the hashtag #passtheporrón and don’t forget to tag us!
