Costers del Priorat Pissarres 2014


Pissarres is derived from the word "pizarra" which is "slate" in Spanish. This wine is a blend of grapes from Mas Alsera in Torroja del Priorat and Sant Martí in Bellmunt, Costera del Priorat's flagship wine encompasses both the rugged center of Priorat as well as the region's warm south.

Vinification Varieties are fermented seperately in stainless steel tanks of various sizes and cement vats. The wine is then blended and aged 12 months in 225L and 500L new and old French oak. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation in barrel.
